Mediation
Mediation is a form of dispute resolution with the assistance of a neutral negotiator (mediator). It is based on the voluntary consent of the parties in order to reach a mutually acceptable solution.

In Russia, if the mediation agreement was reached during the pretrial stage and certified by a notary, it has the force of an executive document. It helps to avoid considerable expenses on its enforcement.
Before the court if:
1. there is a conflict
2. you avoid litigation
3. you intend to resolve the case amicably
During court proceedings if:
1. a claim has been filed
2. protracted proceedings
3. you are unable to reach an agreement on your own
During enforcement of the court verdict if:
1. there is a court decision that neither party is satisfied with
2. a court decision/agreement is not implemented
3. enforcement proceedings have been instituted
